Flatshare: Our First Month Was Just the Beginning
We started Flatshare with one simple goal: to make finding a room or roommate easier, more human and more organized.
Shared living is not just about posting or browsing listings. It is about trust, communication, timing and, most importantly, finding the right match between people who are looking for the same thing: a home that truly fits their needs.
That is why we are delighted to see that, during our first month, the Flatshare community has already begun to grow.
What We Achieved in Our First Month
In just one month, Flatshare passed:
• 35+ available rooms
• 100+ users
• 500+ messages exchanged between people looking for a room, a roommate or their next home
For us, these numbers are not just statistics. They represent the first real connections being created through the platform. They represent people reaching out, starting conversations, comparing needs, exploring options and taking the first step toward a new living situation.
Building More Than a Listings Platform
From the beginning, we wanted Flatshare.gr to be more than just a place where people post available rooms. Our goal is to build a useful tool that truly supports people who are searching for or offering shared living opportunities.
That is why we are already working on new tools and features that will make the experience even better.
We are preparing new features that will help users:
• organize and manage their accounts more easily
• present their needs and preferences more clearly
• find rooms and roommates that better match what they are looking for
• benefit from smarter account matching, so the search becomes faster, more focused and less overwhelming
Our goal is simple: less time spent searching, better communication between users and a higher chance of finding the right roommate or room.
