Student housing
Student housing in Athens
Areas, costs, and practical steps for finding a room or roommate in Athens.
When to start
Demand rises before the academic year and each semester. Start with clear dates, stay length, and a total budget so you can identify genuinely available options quickly.
Area and commute
Do not limit the search to the campus neighbourhood. Compare areas on the same metro line or a direct bus route and measure door-to-door travel during peak hours.
Real monthly cost
Add building fees, electricity, internet, heating, and transport to rent. Ask which costs are fixed, which vary by season, and how bills are split when a room is temporarily empty.
